Our Christmas Tradition continues. Deep in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, beneath snow-laced boughs and stone-shadowed cliffs, young Ulvie hears a cry no one else can, the cry of a troll child.​

In this second tale of The Belsnickel Saga, the Christmas Tradition builds as Ulvie, is now a little older, braver, and still very much between two worlds, encounters a hidden danger stirring beneath the roots of Midgard. Trolls, long feared in tale and tavern, are returning. But these are not the lumbering monsters whispered of in grown-up fear. They are desperate. Forgotten. And not all of them are what they seem.
